Special chases with
clamping bars and perforated plate for small dies

KAMA special chases allow small dies and dies previously
used with other cutters such as cylinders, hand-fed or flat-bed
cutters to be used. Such dies are either fixed with the help
of clamping bars or screwed to the perforated plate. |

Several small dies can so be arranged in one chase. The
clamping bars will be ideally suited if the individual dies
have the same size. If not, the dies should be screwed to
the perforated plate. |

The chase with perforated plate makes it possible to insert
several universal creasing blades at any position. It will
thus not be necessary to make complete dies for simple creasing

Platen changing system
(4+1 mm)
This system aims to
reduce the set-up time and costs for repeat job with many creasing
lines. Standard, medium and hard platens can be used. The platen
changing system comprises a chase fine adjustment unit, a 4 mm base
plate with fixation system for AS platens and soft, a medium and
a hard platens as desired.
Frontlay control
The front edges of
the sheets are monitored by adjustable reflection light barriers.
The machine will be stopped if a sheet is misaligned (e.g. by 0.2
mm, other settings are possible). This prevents misaligned sheets
from entering the cutting station where they could cause major blockages.
The frontlay control can be activated and deactivated as desired.
Electrostatic discharge
system
This systems aims
to equalise different potentials when working with electro-statically
charged materials. It will be particularly helpful if you process
laminated cardboard or plastic materials, as this minimises adherence
of the sheets to each other, thus avoiding double sheet errors,
and to the feeding table and platen. The discharge system will be
installed on request and can be activated and deactivated as desired.
